Situated in the heart of Oban with panoramic views over the majestic Oban Bay the Ceilidh House has been designed with weddings in mind. It’s spacious with two strategically placed bars fully stocked with a selection of beers, wines, spirits and liqueurs and fantastic disco facilities - everything you and your guests need to really relax and get into the swing of the evening. Our in-house sound system is perfectly pitched so you know that the wedding speeches will be heard and enjoyed by everyone in the room.

Skipinnish staff will be on hand throughout the course of your reception to ensure everything goes smoothly; from making sure wedding gifts are properly stored in a private room to directing the wedding party to changing suites or resolving any hitches that may come up throughout the day, we will be there to meet your every need. We can even recommend the best local photographers to capture the magic of your evening on camera!

Skipinnish have an unparalleled reputation as one of Scotland’s best ceilidh bands, specialists in traditional Scottish music for weddings. We can also provide pipers for the church ceremony and accompanying music for the wedding breakfast.
